'Breaking the Blues' was a response to Fahy's negative experience in his working life and the effect it had on his mental health. This ink artwork conveys his 'overwhelming sense of relief' when he started a new job. He 'put those emotions in an image and hoped to convey the feeling of euphoria, freedom and release that came from moving forward in [his] career.'
