NI Mental Health Arts Festival invites you to submit a work of self-penned poetry on the theme of ‘Isolation’.
Poet in Residence Paul Butterfield will collect the entries (video or written) and show them as part of an online collection for the Festival in May that coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week.
A word from Paul-
“Did you ever wonder what your mind was capable of in isolation? You would be surprised! If you are an experienced poet or only thought of trying, why don’t you submit an old poem or one fresh out of the box and mind’s eye to us on the theme of isolation?
We need creativity more now than ever! So look out your window now. Whether it is a blinding sun or a large moon looking back at you.
Put your pen in your hand. Put it on the paper. Scribble your precious soul on it. And send it!”
A £50 Gift Voucher for No Alibis will be awarded to the winner after a public vote.
Deadline April 30th 2020
Please submit entries to Paul Butterfield paul.spoon.butterfield577@gmail.com
