Philip Quinn : 'I, Me, Mine' Premiere
As part of a study in the last few years researchers at the University of Reading have understood that depression has its own language, noting that those showing symptoms share a tendency to use significantly more first person singular pronouns than those who don't. In this specially commissioned piece for NIMHAF, using first person singular pronouns, his voice and audio technology, Quinn weaves an aural patchwork suggesting circular thought processes within a clouding of consciousness.
