Personal Space Image.jpg

Personal Space is a short radio play in monologue form that takes the audience into the world of Laura, a young woman who has just about managed to get off her settee. It explores the ways in which we talk to ourselves, and some of the contexts within which (and by which) we define ourselves: our bodies, our immediate environment and the world at large.

Louise Parker is an actor and theatre maker from Belfast. She has appeared on stage, screen and radio with credits including The Frankenstein Chronicles (ITV), Christmas Eve Can Kill You (Lyric Theatre) and A Run in the Park (BBC Radio 4). She is currently developing a piece of her own writing with the support of Kabosh Theatre Company and an ACES award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
