Warriors Against Stigma

Group exhibition raising awareness of EUPD/BPD and tackling the myths and stigma it attracts.

Warriors Against Stigma (WAS) features the work of artists with lived experience of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) / Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).

The project's purpose is to raise awareness of the disorder and tackle the myths and stigma that it attracts. The exhibition coincides with BPD Month which occurs annually in May.

Some of the artists have exhibited their work in galleries, others created for themselves and family and friends.

Each of the artists has a unique experience of dealing with the day to day impact of living with this diagnosis, whilst also dealing with the lack of understanding, and the terrible stigma that accompanies it.
All group members use their creativity to help them on their recovery journey, and find that it serves to express the feelings that others struggle to understand.
