Have a Blast with ‘The Enthusiasts’

‘The Enthusiasts’ are a choir made up of singers from Brain Injury Matters, members of the Ormeau Community Choir and led by Una McCann.

Meeting every week, everyone shares a common interest in singing and the positive effects it has on one’s well-being. The group enjoy a lot of banter and fun with everyone leaving refreshed and energised.

From 2:15 to 3:00pm on Wednesday the 11th May 2022 ‘The Enthusiasts’ are going to set The MAC, 10 Exchange St West, Belfast, BT1 2NJ alight with live favourites from well-known musicals.

In the Brain Injury Matters ‘EveryBODY sings’ concept, singers may sing, use instruments, move to the music or simply and powerfully provide the rhythm of their heartbeat! *

Everyone is invited and ‘The Enthusiasts’ want to pass on the good vibes and everyone can join in however they wish to!

Brain Injury Matters (NI) was established in 2013 as an independent regional third sector organisation

supporting, promoting and empowering those individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury.

* Research by Vickhoff (2013) has shown how heart rates synchronise during group singing activities.
